Mixpanel importer
You can import your historical data from Mixpanel in several ways.
From the settings:
Or from the sign up flow:
One-off: please note that the Mixpanel importer is one-off, meaning it will only import the data for the time range selected once. For a continuous flow of data into June please use Segment or the June tracking.
From the onboarding
Import your historical Mixpanel data from the sign up flow:
- Head to the sign up: https://analytics.june.so/start
- Create an account
- Add your Segment source
- Add your Mixpanel project ID, username and secret key, and select an import date range
From the June settings
To import your historical Mixpanel data from the settings:
- Log into June: https://analytics.june.so
- Click on your workspace name on the top left corner of the page
- Go to
Settings & Integrations
- Click on the Mixpanel integration, and then
Import data
- Add your Mixpanel project ID, username and secret key, and select an import date range
That's it! You should now see an import progress bar on the bottom left of the page
Where to find your Mixpanel project ID, username and secret key
This information is required to pull your information from Mixpanel.
To find this information:
- In the Mixpanel header bar, click the Gear icon.
- Under “PROJECT SETTINGS”, click the project you want.
- Your project ID number can be found within the Access URL. The numbers at the end of this URL are the ID number.
- Your secret Key is referred as API Secret
Limits: If your Mixpanel data export size for the date range exceeds 4GB, we'll send you an email to ask for a shorter date range.
